After graduating from Purdue University in 1987, Smeriglio's advertising career began in the Leo Burnett Media Department serving on the Philip Morris and Kraft foods accounts. After four years at Leo Burnett (1988 - 1991), Smeriglio took his media expertise on the road by joining Popular Mechanics as an Account Executive. Sales and management we're a match for Smeriglio. His career carried him to Worth Magazine where he rose to the role of Associate Publisher. It was the challenge of new Media that lured Smeriglio from print to the online world of Yahoo!; Smeriglio now manages online marketing initiatives for companies like Target, General Mills, Allstate, Citibank and HSBC.
