The 2008 ADDY COMPETITION IS ON-LINE AND OPEN FOR REGISTRATION-ADDY DROP OFF DATES: JANUARY 17 AND 18

Check out the AAF Rules and Regulations. You'll need to make a copy to use as a "How to Guide" to select the correct division and category. We've added a Check List to use to prepare you entries for drop off. Be patient with the download because the Word and PDF files are large. Go to www.adfedeci.org and then open the ADDY page.

Q & A FROM OUR MEMBERS

1. Question: When I was on line it didn't accept my credit card. How do I pay for my entries.

2. Question: Where do I get the plastic envelopes?
Answer: We'll have plastic envelopes at the program meeting this Friday. If you are not attending the meeting then bring your entries to the drop off sites and we'll have them available for you.

3. Question: Where and when do I drop off my entries?

4. Question: Will my entry be disqualified if I enter it incorrectly in the wrong category?
Answer: No, we check all entries before judging and if something is in the wrong category, we move it to the correct category for you.

5. Question: Is there a "How to Enter Guide?" This is my first time to enter.
Answer: The AAF National Rules and Guidelines have been adapted to give step by step directions for entering. We've even included a Check List of what is needed for your entries.

6. Question: Why do you need a separate CD with our Artwork?
Answer: The artwork is needed for all Silver and Gold ADDY winners so that the committee can prepare the winner's book and produce the show for the awards banquet.

NEW FOR 2008 THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY - AD FED EAST CENTRAL IN LOCAL ONLY CATEGORY

This category is for all that great work and sweat that went into the project that never ran. (Maybe the client didn’t use it. Maybe a decision was made to pull the work before it ran.) Work will be judged with all professional entries and will be eligible for a Gold or Silver ADDY®. Local only categories are not forwarded to the District ADDY® Competition. Several Ad Clubs throughout the country have included this category in their competition for many years. Ad Fed ECI is adding this category for the 2008 competition.

Because this is a new local only category we are going to extend the entires to those that have been created during the past five years. (January 1, 2002-December 31, 2007) All other entries must be created between January 1 and December 31, 2007.
